Honoured that my logo has been chosen to represent the ๐ฆ๐ผ๐๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ด๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐๐น๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฏ and the 12 localities that form part of it.
The logo has been designed with having in mind inclusivity, historical symbols, the 12 local councils and a touch of Mediterranean colours to merge it all.
I look forward to the general public’s participation in the events which will be organised by the Kunsill Reฤกjonali tan-Nofsinhar

Today marks a significant milestone in my journey as a designer. As I sit down to reflect, memories flood back to a time when I was just starting my career with Liquid Studios. It was a period of learning, growth, and unexpected opportunities that would shape my trajectory in unimaginable ways.
One particular project stands out vividly in my mindโthe website redesign for the Malta Community Chest Fund. The project came at a time when the website desperately needed a facelift. Its outdated design no longer resonated with the community it served. With determination and creativity, our team embarked on the task of breathing new life into this digital platform.
But it wasn’t just about revamping the website; it was about crafting an identity that captured the essence of the Malta Community Chest Fund. In a stroke of inspiration, I decided to complement the website redesign with a new logoโa symbol that would embody the Fund’s mission and values. It was a bold move, considering the simplicity of the existing logo, which I humorously suspect might have been created using Microsoft Paint.
Little did I know that this decision would have far-reaching consequences. The logo I designed caught the attention of none other than the President of Malta at the time, George Abela. His enthusiasm for the design was overwhelming, and before I knew it, my creation had become intertwined with the national identity.
Ten years have passed since that pivotal moment, and yet the significance of what transpired still resonates deeply within me. Seeing the logo I crafted being prominently displayed year after year fills me with a sense of pride and humility. It’s a constant reminder of the power of design to transcend boundaries and leave a lasting impact on society.
Today, as we celebrate Labor Day, I am reminded of the countless hours spent pouring my heart and soul into my work. To all the workers out there, I extend my heartfelt gratitude. May your efforts never go unnoticed, and may you find fulfillment in every endeavor you undertake.
As I close this journal entry, I am filled with gratitude for the journey that has brought me to this point. Here’s to the power of creativity, perseverance, and the enduring legacy of a simple logo that became so much more.
Happy holidays to all workers.
Today marks my 10th anniversary of my professional career in the industry.
I’ve worked with 3 great companies in all, Liquid Studios, TBWA\ANG and Amaya Gaming; doing “whatever you name it – projects”, from websites to magazines, animations to videos, 3D to sound production and lately Facebook apps .
During those years I have had the privileged opportunity to work with some of the most talented people, numerous leading businesses and big brands such as McDonalds, GO PLC, Banif Bank and MSV Life to name a few.
One of the most satisfying piece of work that I still treasure to this date and I still see it advertised everywhere at the end of each year is that the president chose my logo. I’m referring to the (Malta Community Chest Fund – MCCF).
Wrapping all that up I have never imagined that it would lead me to work with one of the most recognized & iconic brands in the world. Waking up editing and producing work with well-known playmates such as Sara Jean Underwood is one big thrill and experience.
May I take the opportunity to thank all the amazing photographers, videographers, marketeers, content writers, models, actors, developers, all of my colleagues and finally the managers and superiors that gave me a chance and believed in me.
A few years ago I had a dream…
A dream that my localityย Marsaskalaย would have it’s own Football Club enlisted with the MFA that together, by time it would come along with it’s own Nursery and football pitch. That dream has now been achieved with a lot of hard work, dedication and support from my friends, family and other people I have met along the road notably James Borg, Daniel Spiteri, Joseph Farrugia, Dr. Teebi and Greg Dawson.
It was a dream that me and my good friendย James Borgย used to envision whilst we used to play football on tarmac, rubble and god knows what.
We have gone through good and bad moments along the way but overall I’m proud that we have done it. Today football players and kids can enjoy what we didn’t have and youths have now an alternative to grow up in a healthy and sportive environment.
Yesterday, local residents received a magazine called “Maskot” – which I was surprised to find myself in it. The magazine is professionally done and I can imagine what work must have took to publish it, not forgetting the printing costs.
Reading the article, I couldn’t help not to smile for some parts. Mostly accurate but some vital parts were left out. Overall it is a nice magazine and I encourage all residents to have a look and if possible to support/donate.
From the bottom of my heart I wish you all the best of luck and keep it upย ๐
